About

Giacomo Soranzio is a video-maker and editor, born and raised in Trieste, Italy.
Interested in the moving image from a very young age, he always had a thirst for innovation and creativity through digital mediums.

Graduated in DAMS (Disciplines of Audiovisual, Media and Entertainment) and studied at MetFilm - Berlin in a postgraduate course of Experimental Filmmaking.

Passionate about video-making since the age of 14, he applies an unconventional approach in most of his works using heterogeneous video shooting technologies, from 8mm films developed with caffeine to analog video distorters. 

He worked as a videographer, editor and motion grapher for IKON.srl: a digital agency specialised in VR 360° 3D videos, ledwalls, and motion graphics for clients like: Samsung, Ikea, Ingka Centres, Bocconi, Cigierre, Generali CityLife Milano, Redbull and more.

Currently based in Barcelona and working as a freelance videomaker for clients around Europe, especially in Barcelona, Milan, Berlin and Copenhagen.
